About Us

GREETINGS friends, family and newcomers, one and all! If you know me and you've seen the work Sue and I do, then you already know what to expect when you browse the catalogue. If you're new to us then let me offer just a few words of explanation. Every item offered on this site is produced one at a time. Hand carved, hand painted and finished, each item is a completely unique original like no other in the world. We feel confident that you'll find something special to keep, or to offer as a memorable gift.

How We View Our Business

In order to be truely happy and satisfied, a person ought to be doing what God "wired" them to do. For me, this is woodworking. Making a living as a cabinetmaker and a woodworking instructor for more than twenty years, I found just that satisfaction. Woodworking, for me, was more than an occupation. It was and is a passion; my job and my favorite pastime. I was frustrated however, by the fact that the major portion of my woodworking equipment was not particularly portable and I had to leave it all behind when I traveled. About twelve years ago I "discovered" carving as an aspect of my woodworking that I could take with me anywhere I went. Now... I never get lost. There's a trail of wood chips behind me to follow home, no matter where I go.

Our "Company"

Our "company" consists of myself and Susan (my wife of thirteen years), and on rare occasions, one or more of my five children. I do all the carving and Sue does all the painting. Most of the items then come back to me for the "antiquing", finishing and mounting.

OUR FAMILY

Pictured here are Lee and Susan(Mom & Dad), nine year old twins Chelsea & Jesse, six year old twins Lindsay and Jennifer, and three year old "big girl" Sarah.
